Belonging and Acceptance

These questions explore what belonging to society means.

These questions refer to the score for inclusion and acceptance (indicator 19) in the assessment framework. These measures reflect on whether respondents feel that they belong to their society, and whether their society belongs to them. Questions in this section explore whether respondent feel they can express their identity freely and feel ties to people from other diversity groups within their society.

While most questions of the Pluralism Perceptions Survey help inform indicators in Dimension 5: Intergroup Relations and Belonging, these questions are specifically relevant to Indicator 19: Inclusion and Acceptance.
